Google Scholar: Journals by Ranking

Google Scholar ranks journals using its own H-index metric.  The concept is similar to impact factor, with some differences in scope.  Follow these steps to browse or search journals by category and rank.  

Browse Journal Rankings by Subject: 

1. Go to scholar.google.com
2. Click the menu icon
3. Select Metrics from the list
4. Select the desired category and subcategory from the list
5. The results rank journals in that subject by the H-index ranking
6. Resulting list contains close matches to the title searched

Search Rankings by Journal Title: 

1. Go to scholar.google.com
2. Click the menu icon
3. Select Metrics from the list
4. Click the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner
5. Search for the journal title
