STRATEGIES FOR FINDING PEER-REVIEWED ARTICLES IN PSYCHOLOGY:

  • Use PsycINFO for the most comprehensive coverage of journals in Psychology
     
  • Use the "Term Finder" to discover the best search terms for your topic
     
  • To search for the relationship between two search terms use the "AND" operator
     
  • To search for synonomous or related terms use the "OR" operator
     
  • The limiters in the left column will assist you to make a more precise search
     
  • 'PDF' or "Check for Full Text" will take you to the article online OR
     
    • You may need to use Interlibrary Loan to get a copy of the article
