If you are looking for help in starting your library research, I recommend starting with a short article in a specialized encyclopedia for back ground information:
the best one in for this class is: Encyclopedia of archaeology. The great archaeologists. It can be found in the reference section on the first floor. The call number is CC110.E54 1999.

Since you will be searching for works by or about a specific archaeologist, simply use their name as your search term. Use OneSearch for both books and articles. You may need to add some other terms, such as  archaeology, or the name of a major site they worked on, to refine your results.
